Sometimes the best traditions start when you least expect them.
One December evening in Atlantic Beach, Florida, three friends and one curious child hopped onto a golf cart to do something we've always loved: look at Christmas lights.
But that night, we decided to do something a little different.
Instead of just admiring the homes that made us smile, we created a handful of homemade awards to let our neighbors know how much we appreciated their holiday spirit.
We had no idea what would happen next.
People loved them! Neighbors came outside to thank us, shared pictures, and told us how much it meant to have their efforts recognized.
And that's when we realized something.
A simple act of kindness could turn an ordinary holiday tradition into something extraordinary.
And just like that, The Light Lookers was born.
